The chapter offers a scholarship for $1500.00, open to any 99 whose chapter is based within 99
nautical miles of Yuba City, CA. She has to have been a 99 for at least one year from the end of the
current year. This scholarship is offered for any advanced rating or certificate involved in aviation.
She must have completed at least 5 hours toward the rating requested and have 25 hours of flight
time within the last 6 months. Applications must be postmarked by December 31st of the current
year. Winner will be announced by the end of March the following year. For application and further

For licensed pilot members to advance in training and eduation in aviation and aerospace, including
scholarships to complete additional pilot certificats and ratings, jet type ratings, college degrees,
technical training and an Emergency Maneuver Training Scholarship established in memory of 99
member Vicki Cruse. There are 5 separate applications in order to accommodate the most
